hmm, of these, I think I like Northern Sound the best except that it is unforunately a bit generic and a quick search shows the domain name to be pretty damn taken.
I am trying to think of a short, clever name but honestly, so far, nada…

I liked Northern Sounds too because it is reminiscent of the Northern Lights, but yeah, it’s taken.
I also really like Audionord (which Valtteri likes a lot, too). That domain is taken as well but it’s just a placeholder site so maybe there’s still some chance of getting a hold of it.

agreed, Norddicted is ok…. I guess as a second choice, Audionord is also pretty good. I’d back that.

So far it looks like Audionord is the the winner but I am not giving up on thinking of new ones yet. I suggested NordicBoom to Paul last night, kind of a play on a sonic boom. What do you think about that one?

NordicBoom is very cool as well, so cool in fact that I don’t know which I like better, that one or Audionord. In addition to being that play on sonic boom, the word “boom” can also be interpreted in a variety of other ways that all suit the site nicely… I don’t know! Maybe I’d go with NordicBoom in the end? Anyone else?

ehh, not so fond of nordicboom, sorry. I do like the new font for the name better tho… (and the text layout in the new image is better, too, imo…)

Agreed. Personally my favourite is still Norddicted, but I appear to be in the minority so I should probably wave the white flag. As I told Greg the other night, I think that Iceland in the main image should be moved a little bit to the right, since it looks a bit…I dunno, stuck out there in the middle of the banner. I agree with keeping it as close to reality as possible, but since we aren’t showing the UK there’s no real reason to have that much space between them. But maybe that’s just me

Iceland does look kinda lonely. another option might be to show a faint translucent ghost image of the UK, Russia, Estonia, etc to keep it realistic while balancing things more and perhaps it would bring Iceland back into a bit more focus? it could also look completely horrible and way too busy, but I think it might be worth a try.

hmm, I think it works…
@Paul - I *think* the ghost UK, etc would work fine, but the blue image might need to be reversed if Russia is included. but I haven’t tried messing with it, I am only seeing it in my head and sometimes things in my head are not the same as out of it.
