Fans of EBM and electronic music in North America rejoice - the German [:SITD:] has confirmed a bevy of tour dates for the New Continent! [:SITD:] and the American/Austrian Aesthetic Perfection will support the Californian industrial electronic outfit Imperative Reaction on its Minus All tour in autumn and early winter. The tour seems to be quite an extensive one and it’s implied that not all dates have yet been announced, so you’ll have plenty of chances to catch some of the most crushing electronic beats on the planet.

I just found out that 2 more German bands will be performing concerts in the United States later this year. So far, [:SITD:] is supposed to be playing on September 20th at Das Bunker in Los Angeles, and Soman will be appearing at the same club on August 22nd and will be headlining the Reverence Festival in Madison, Wisconsin the very next day. That’s all the shows in America these 2 electro-industrial acts have planned so far, but I am really hoping these evolve into longer tours that reach the New York area. I would love to see both these bands, and I know plenty of others who would too.

[:SITD:] released a few of their new tracks on the split (with Bainbastard) EP Klangfusion back in July as a taste of what was to come. We sampled it, we liked it, and we wanted more. Well now we can have more. [:SITD:] is releasing their new full-length album Bestie:Mensch on Friday the 7th. The new album contains 11 songs, a few of which were on the previous EP. There’s also a limited edition that has a bonus disc called Electronic Weapons Of Mass Reconstruction. This CD has 12 remixes that [:SITD:] did for other electronic groups like Suicide Commando, VNV Nation, Bruderschaft, Rotersand, and others.

Even though Bestie:Mensch will be out in Europe on Friday, thanks to Accession Records, fans in the USA will have to wait until October 9th for Metropolis to release the American version. If you’re really impatient and want the album right away, you can always order it online from a website like alphamusic.de. SITD recently teamed up with Painbastard to record a double EP. They named it Klangfusion and it just came out on July 27th. Both bands are releasing new albums soon (I’ll tell you more about those in the near future), so they figured this would be a good way to support each other and give their fans a sneak preview about what’s coming. This collaboration also extends to their joint tour which starts towards the end of September.

The first disc is called Kreuzgang and features a few songs from the forthcoming SITD album Bestie:Mensch. There are also several remixes done by a number of other bands spread throughout the tracklist. The second disc has selected songs from the upcoming Painbastard album and a bunch of remixes as well.
