Alexander Veljanov, the voice of Deine Lakaien, is currently working on a new album of his own called Porta Macedonia. While the tracklisting and release date are not yet known, we do know that this album will come in 3 variations. 1: a standard CD with the basic tracklisting. 2: a limited edition with bonus tracks and a more elaborately designed CD booklet. and 3: a double LP version for collectors and music enthusiasts.

The album has not been listed at any online stores yet, so it’s probably safe to say that we still have to wait a few more months for Porta Macedonia to be released. But if you can’t wait, or if you are somehow unfamiliar with the seductive vocals of Mr. Veljanov, you can always listen to his current music or his past work with Deine Lakaien on Myspace.

Noisuf-X is releasing a new album called The Beauty Of Destruction on June 8th. As the name seems to suggest, Noisuf-X is an electronic noise act with some great beats. Check out some of their songs on Myspace page.

On June 6th, Batbeliever will release a compilation called Goth Is What You Make It, Vol. 6 which will feature many German musicians. Check it out if you’re into gothic music and want to discover many new bands.

Alexander Veljanov and Ernst Horn have been making music together for over 20 years. Coming from completely opposite sides of the music world (Horn was an orchestra conductor and Veljanov was interested in new wave) they managed to combine their talents to form what has become quite a recognizable, unique style. To celebrate 20 years of “electronic avantgarde”, Deine Lakaien toured with the Neue Philharmonie Frankfurt with tremendous success.

20 Years of Electronic Avantgarde will be released as a CD and DVD combination on the 8th of June. Several different versions will be available including a 2 CD version, a 2 DVD version, and a deluxe 3 DVD + 2 CD version as a box set. You can find all of these versions at Amazon.de, Infrarot.de, and any number of other online retailers. It is also available at the official Deine Lakaien webshop.

In addition, Deine Lakaien has decided to play a few more concerts with the orchestra in the coming months, so check them out if you haven’t had the opportunity already.
