New Heimataerde album at the end of the week
Heimataerde has risen to become a favorite band for many German music fans, due in part to their genre-crossing sound. The fusion of strong EBM beats with traditional medieval sounds on their previous albums certainly appeals to me, too. Recently, I found out that they will be putting out a new album called Leben Geben Leben Nehmen. The release date is approaching fast, next week on October 13th.
Stop by Heimataerde’s MySpace page to listen to a medley of samples from the new album, plus another from Kadavergehorsam which came out last year. there are also some additional short samples on MusicNonStop but they don’t help all that much. Unfortunately, they are all pretty short and of low quality, so I’m not sure where I stand on this one yet. I need to heard more.

Wow, don’t know I missed this one. I’m a big fan of theirs (despite the sometimes cheesy lyrics) and if there’s a third album coming out…I is a happy boy

I’m more than a few months late on this post… but this album sucks. I love Gotteskrieger, but this… I can’t stand it.
