It looks like I missed the release date for the new JBO album Head Bang Boing somehow, but thanks to my good friend Georgi in Bulgaria I can now tell you about it. JBO, as you may know, is one of the funniest German bands around. Their self-described “fun metal” is almost guaranteed to put you in a good mood and make you laugh. My favorite song of theirs has always been the cover of Van Halen’s “Jump” where the band performs all of the instrument sounds with their voices. It’s an incredible work of talent and really funny all at the same time.

So about this new album… Head Bang Boing was released last week on September 28th. The music is as crazy as ever and the members of JBO are just insane. With songs like “Slipknotubbies” and “Oaaargh!” you can tell this isn’t any ordinary kind of music. If you know JBO, you know you have to listen to Head Bang Boing. If you don’t, just watch this video and you’ll understand:
