I've only heard it about 4 times and am not yetcompletely familiar with every song and tone, but, seriously, Greg - this album is NOT depressive. It's pretty damn close to cheerful. :) I think it's time for another set of lyric translations. ;) I think this is going to be my favorite Eisheilig album. It is more complex, (IMO) more mature, and although the vocals are still dark and smoky, and certainly have the classic Eisheilig sound, "monotone" is a bit harsh. :P For a contrasting review of the album, I'd recommend reading http://www.metal1.info/reviews/reviews.php?rev_id=2478 (in German, but I am guessing babelfish or similar can get the gist of it). -n OK, I FINALLY received my copy of “Auf dem Weg” today!
