New song “Spiegel” by B.O.S.C.H.

B.O.S.C.H. is another up and coming electro-metal band from Germany. They haven’t released an album yet, but ever since DeutscheMusik.net featured them back in April, I’ve heard people talking about their music non-stop. And for good reason. Their combination of simple, gritty guitars and smooth synths is one of the best things your ears will ever have the pleasure of hearing. Come to think of it, I think B.O.S.C.H. is kind of like the German equivalent of the (awesome) Finnish band Turmion Kätilöt.
Fans have been listening to the 5 songs on the band’s MySpace page for months, awaiting an album release at some unknown point in the future. Fortunately for us, B.O.S.C.H. has decided to release a rough mix of their new song “Spiegel” on the Razor Blade Dance Floor podcast. This episode of the podcast is focused on industrial-metal music and how it has evolved over the years and includes a few good tracks by (some German) bands including Rammstein, Die Krupps, Ministry, and Fear Factory, but the B.O.S.C.H. song is at the very end since the playlist is in chronological order. You can listen to the whole thing or just skip ahead to hear “Spiegel”. Either way, you need to hear this song if you like any kind of industrial-metal.

Awesome blog! B.O.S.C.H. is a great up and coming German band that is recommended for anyone who is a fan of Rammstein, Unheilig, Megaherz, Die Krupps, Oomph! or any other industrial based metal band out of Germany. Thanks for the unsolicited plug for my podcast!

Thank you, Greg! I’ve been saying b.o.s.c.h. are analogous to a German Tk since I first heard them, but you’re the first one I’ve had agree right off the bat (or in your case, without my saying it at all!)
I’d also just say to Chrome Skin Jesus (wacky name, by the way) that I enjoyed the podcast, and I at least don’t mind the Americanisation of the German pronunciation. Keep up the good work!

Hey guys, thanks for your comments. I really appreciate it when there’s some activity beyond the news post.
Paul, I’ve never heard you say BOSCH is like Turmion Kätilöt before, but I definitely agree. The thought just came to me as I was writing the post… I was like “wow this sounds like TK…”
Anyway, BOSCH is on a fast track to becoming one of my favorite bands. I will definitely be keeping my eye on them for future news here.

I agree that fans of either band should check out the other.
And yes. Great new track — this is certainly one of my most anticipated upcoming albums…
I’ll try to be good and comment on more news items, Greg.

Hey Nadja,
Thanks for the comment. I have to agree, BOSCH is one of the best new bands to come around in a very long time. I can’t wait for their new album!

Hi Greg,
Yeah Shaun and I have been actively promoting B.O.S.C.H. on Myspace since last December. As far as ideas?. You might ask him. He’s the one that got us all started on the great adventure as I call it., although he undeservedly likes to give me equal credit, as I did bring a lot of Myspace people on board. Here’s Shaun’s Myspace:

Loving Die Krupps as much as b.o.s.c.h. I found it more than splendid to see em both on one Germaniac-site http://www.germaniac.com/blog/category/bands/die-krupps/ …
After the songs on the EP, after Maschinenwelt and Spiegel, I am more than thrilled to see or better hear what will be coming up next - all hold your breaths, will they be able to once more top what they’ve done before …
guess we ought to stay tuned to find out … xD
Hugs & Magick
