I've seen them live at outdoor concerts, volkfests and clubs at least 15 times over a span of 10 years while stationed in Germany with the military. I have 10 of their CD's & a DVD on my shelf (and I am looking forward to the new CD coming out in Jan 09). We would love for them to come to the U.S. for a tour. I've seen they've gotten some airplay on a chicago radio station featuring Irish music. There earliest CDs are as good as their latest work, and you really can't go wrong buying any of their CDs, but really the best way to enjoy this band is to see them live! You seem to be advocating burning CD's & handing them out, though... while this is a good way to get people to hear the band, it might not be the best way to get CD's sold... Maybe a sampler? They are selling CD's on CD Baby, I believe... But you are right, they are a great band that should be heard more in the US & a tour would be excellent!! The band definately has some underground support but it would be great if they were known better so they could make us dance ourselves into the ground, exhausted & asking for more, haha!! Anyway, again, well done, keep up the good work & that goes for Greg also!!
