3 Stahlhammer albums released in Russia

Back in April, I announced on Stahlhammer’s official site that the band had partnered with the Russian record label Mystic Empire to re-release their latest 3 albums: Eisenherz, Stahlmania, and Opera Noir. Originally, the news I got wasn’t very clear with the specifics, but I just received the Russian CDs direct from the band so now I can finally give you the details.
Contrary to what I thought, the albums have not been remastered… at least not that I can tell. All of the songs sound the same as their original releases to me. All of the major changes come after the regular album songs. Eisenherz now has a new bonus video. “Bis In Alle Ewigkeit” has been added, plus there is also the “Eisenherz” video which has always been on the CD. In my opinion, Stahlmania has the best bonuses, 2 new songs! “Herrgott” is the first, and then there is an alternate version of “Angst” called “Keine Angst”. This is not a remix, but rather a complete re-recording and restructuring of the song. The Opera Noir album has a new video for “Kalt Wie Eis” as a bonus.
I’ve already had a number of inquiries about how you can buy these Russian re-releases. As far as I know, Mystic Empire won’t sell them internationally, so right now everyone is out of luck. However, I will probably be able to get them for the Stahlhammer Store within a few months. I’ll let you know.
