DeutschMusikLand turns 7
Monday, July 9th marks the 7th anniversary of DeutschMusikLand. Originally started back in 2000 as a Yahoo! Club (they weren’t even called Groups yet) by Mikki and Joe, DML’s mission was to promote German music of all kinds. A lot has changed over the past 7 years, especially with the creation of their website, but their determination to bring you info about as many German bands as humanly possible has remained the same. Honestly, I don’t know of any other resource online (I suppose except for Radio Goethe) that has helped out such a wide range of German musicians and fans alike for as long or as much as DML has.
So head on over to DeutschMusikLand.com or join the DML Group and send Mikki a nice message to let her know what a terrific job she has done. I’m sure she will appreciate the support.
