Video: “Freiflug” by Megaherz
Back in 1998, the Munich-based band Megaherz released their second album Kopfschuss. A year later, the “Freiflug” single was released and featured the band’s only music video to date. It’s a cool video, showing the band members suspended in the air by heavy ropes. The song itself is a bit mellow compared to their usual music, but this song is still a classic for all fans of German rock.

[…] The record label Megaherz used to be on, ZYX, just released a new EP featuring the band’s popular song “Freiflug” in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the their first album, Wer Bist Du, which was originally released on June 30th, 1997. Even though the EP was released a few days ago on June 29th, not much is known other than that the DVD feature will apparently be in NTSC format (which is primarily used in North America). The tracklisting is not yet known either, but there is evidence to suggest that the Freiflug EP will be a mix of a best-of (like their compilation Querschnitt) and the original “Freiflug” single which featured the music video.
