Dancing Ferret is moving
Dancing Ferret is a tremendous company, bringing German bands like Eisbrecher, Joachim Witt, Subway to Sally, Corvus Corax, and many others to American fans through their record label, record store, and online shop. And now, after 15 years of catering to the goth, industrial, electro and alternative crowds in Philadelphia, the Digital Ferret record store located at 526 South 5th Street is closing its doors at the end of the summer. But fear not! Dancing Ferret is only moving because the building they have been leasing has been sold and the new owners have other plans for it. Dancing Ferret is currently looking for a new location in which they plan to expand their label and store, providing even more opportunities for German bands and their fans alike. They will likely be having some special sales in their store so they have less to move to the new location, so stop by if you’re in the area.
